ABOUT TECHNO FARM KEIHANNA
Techno Farm Keihanna, which started operating in November 2018, is the first facility to employ the Techno Farm™ system. It is one of the biggest automated vertical farms in the world and utilizes robotics, IoT and other cutting edge technologies. Equipped with additional R&D capabilities, Techno Farm Keihanna will act as a gateway to further expansion both in Japan and overseas. Meanwhile, we will work with local communities and our partners as we continue our pursuit for further agricultural innovation.

- 30,000 HEADS OF PRODUCE PER DAY
- By automating the most labor-intensive processes, as well as by introducing new environmental control and water recycling technologies, we have managed to increase the efficiency of vertical farming dramatically and achieve the stable production of 30,000 heads of lettuce every day.
- DELIVERING SAFE AND DELICIOUS LETTUCE
- Techno Farm Keihanna introduces even stricter hygiene control that further builds upon the know-how refined at Kameoka Plant, our original vertical farm. To satisfy the requirements of local and global supply chains, we have plans of acquiring the international food safety standard FSSC22000.
